Primer FL-03K

Properties: FL-03K passivating primer based on phenolic-oil film-forming. After drying, the primer has a red-brown color, the film has a smooth and uniform structure and is resistant to temperature drops from -60 ° C to + 100 ° C.

Primer FL 03K has found wide application in metallurgy. It is applied to the surface of ferrous metals and titanium alloys. Also used for priming wood surfaces. Retains its protective properties in a temperate, cold and tropical climate.

Application

Before use, the FL-03K primer should be stirred to a uniform state throughout the entire volume of the container, then add desiccant and dilute to the working viscosity with solvent, xylene, or the consistency of one of the indicated solvents with white spirit in a 1: 1 ratio by weight. For coloring in the electric field for diluting the primer FL 03K apply diluent RE-4B. Apply primer to the surface by spraying, dipping or brushing. In addition, the jetting method is allowed. For priming steel surfaces in the coating system with enamels HV-124, XB-16 it is allowed to use the primer FL-03K without the additional introduction of desiccant. The primer is applied to the surface at temperatures from -10 ° C to + 30 ° C.
