Primer phosphating VL-02
Type: VL-02 Phosphating Primer is a mixture of two components – a base and an acid diluent.
The base of the primer is a suspension of pigments and fillers in a solution of polyvinyl butyral in a mixture of volatile organic solvents.
Acidic diluent is an alcoholic solution of phosphoric acid.
Scope: Primer VL-02 is designed for priming metal surfaces before applying paints and varnishes.
Advantages: Phosphating primer is used for priming metal surfaces for coating with enamels such as ML, EP, PF, HV, UR, VD-AK, to protect the metal during interoperational storage, as well as instead of phosphating and oxidation. The primer provides anticorrosive protection during operation in various climatic conditions.

Application: Phosphating primer VL-02 should be made immediately before use (4), respectively.
After manufacturing, it can be used for 30 minutes using a VZ-246 viscometer with a nozzle diameter of 4 mm (VZ-4), filtered and applied by pneumatic or airless application. Brush primer is applied with a working viscosity of 20 – 35 seconds.
The primer VL-02 can be diluted with solvent 648 (GOST 18188), P-6, toluene (GOST 14710 and GOST 9880) and xylene (GOST 9949). Mixing these solvents when diluting

Primer consumption when applying :

Storage : The base of the primer acid and the diluent are stored and transported at a temperature from minus 10 ° C to plus 30 ° C Storage and transportation of the base of the primer and acid diluent is allowed at minus 30 ° C, and the duration of storage and transportation should not exceed one month.
Security measures: Primer is a fire hazard and toxic material. It should not be necessary to carry out the heat supply. Personal protection equipment (clothing, goggles, rubber gloves, etc.) must be provided. It doesn’t have a chemical effect.
