Enamel acrylic for windows and doors
PURPOSE:
Acrylic enamel for windows and doors is intended for painting windows and doors inside and outside, as well as for painting previously painted wood, metal or mineral surfaces.
PROPERTIES:
High-quality enamel has a high degree of whiteness. Does not yellow with over time. Forms an elastic, vapor-permeable and weather-resistant coating resistant to temperature changes. It is resistant to mechanical stress, water and washing with household detergents.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
Wooden surfaces:
– Grind unpainted wooden surfaces and thoroughly clean them from dust and dirt to obtain good adhesion. New wooden surfaces should be primed with “BASE” wood protection primer or enamel for windows and doors with 10% water previously diluted. After drying, make the interlayer sanding.
– Remove fragile parts of old paintwork coatings from painted surfaces. Surfaces previously painted with alkyd or oil paint should be polished to matte, cleaned from dust and dirt
Metal surfaces:
– Remove new surfaces from dust, dirt, scale, degrease. Prime with anticorrosive primer.
– Remove the fragile parts of old paintwork coatings, loose and flaking rust from painted surfaces. Sand to a matte surface. Remove dust, dirt and degrease. Prime with anticorrosive primer.
MODE OF APPLICATION:
Before use, the enamel should be thoroughly mixed, if necessary, diluted to working viscosity with water, but not more than 10%. Enamel applied in 1-2 layers. The second layer is applied after the first layer has dried for 2 hours.
APPLICATION METHOD:
brush, roller, spray gun.
DRYING TIME:
at a temperature of + 20 and a relative humidity of 65%, the drying time of one coat of paint is 1-2 hours.
CONSUMPTION:
1 liter of 8-10 m2 with a single layer coating.
STORAGE:
Enamel should be stored and transported in tightly closed original containers, protected from heat and direct sunlight at a temperature not lower than + 5 and not higher than + 35. Protect from freezing!
PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES:
When carrying out painting works, as well as after their completion, it is necessary to ventilate the room thoroughly. Wear rubber gloves to protect hands.
Dispose of the closed container in the collection points for household waste.
