Primer VL-02

Purpose (OHL-02)

The VL-02 primer primes the metal surfaces (carbon steel, corrosion-resistant, galvanized, cadmium steel, aluminum and its alloys, copper, magnesium). Also this soil can replace phosphating and oxidation.

Soil VL-02 protects the treated surface from corrosion, improves adhesion before applying paint or varnish. In the future, metal products and structures can be operated both indoors and in open space. The soil has high protection against sea and fresh water, the effects of petroleum products, alkaline and salt solutions and electric current.

It is used for priming products before applying alkyd, alkyd melamine, epoxy, perchlorovinyl, acrylic enamels and polyurethane enamels. Not used for priming cast iron.

To improve the anticorrosive properties of the primer VL 02, it is allowed to inject 5-7 m. H of aluminum powder per 100 m. H of the base (semi-finished product) of the primer.

Application

Before using the VL-02 primer, it is necessary to thoroughly mix the base (semi-finished product) over the entire volume of the container and then add an acid diluent in a 4: 1 ratio by weight.

Leave the mixture for 30 minutes, then add RFG solvent (GOST 12708-77) to a working viscosity of 16-20s according to VZ-246 (nozzle 4 mm) when applied by pneumatic and airless spraying; brush primer applied at the final viscosity of 20-35s.

The primer can be applied with a brush at temperatures from minus 10 to plus 30 ° C, or by methods of pneumatic or airless spraying. The thickness of one layer of primer – 8-10 microns. Primer consumption VL-02 on one layer when applied by pneumatic spraying -100-120 g / m ?, airless spraying – 95-110 g / m? , brush-80-95 g / m ?. The exposure time of the primer coating VL 02 until the subsequent application of paints no more than 14 days, the minimum exposure time is 30 minutes.
