CONTOUR 28 MS Polymer Adhesive Sealant
Purpose: sealing and bonding materials, filling gaps and seams inside and outside the premises. It is recommended for installation of expansion and butt joints in construction, automotive industry, shipbuilding, for gluing structures subject to vibrations.
High-quality one-component adhesive – sealant based on MS Polimer®.
Properties:
excellent adhesion to most building materials (including wet): concrete, brick, stone, wood, metal, glass, ceramics, mirrors, plastic, etc. Elastic. Resistant to deformation, moisture, ultraviolet rays, oils, alkalis, detergents, sea water. It is painted. Without smell. Does not apply to polyethylene, bitumen, rubber, materials that emit oils and solvents. Not recommended for bonding and sealing aquariums.

Application:
clean, degrease and, if possible, dry the surface. Trim the cartridge above the thread. Cut off the tip to the width of the seam and screw it onto the cartridge. Extrude with a pistol. Smoothing the seam with a soap and water solution is allowed.

Notes: The
recommended minimum joint width should be 6 mm, maximum 20 mm. For joints between 6 and 12 mm wide, the recommended depth is 6 mm. In the case of a seam width of more than 12 mm, the ratio of width to depth A: B should be 2: 1, to max. depths of 12 mm and ratios of 1: 1. In the case of deeper seams, as well as where it is necessary, a polyethylene cord should be used, with a minimum layer thickness of 6 mm. The polyethylene cord should be used wherever return stress can protrude or to avoid adhesion to three surfaces, which limits the sealant’s adaptation to movement.
