Base
Must be clean, dry, durable, degreased, free of contaminants and substances that act as a separator (such as resin, wax, grease, old, weak coatings, etc.). Base, depending on the type, pre-process, as indicated below.
Wood: wooden and parquet floors should be sanded and dust-free. Remove wax, polish and care products. Significant irregularities align with specialized putty for wooden floors. Sand after drying. Tropical or resinous wood should be thoroughly washed or cleaned with a special resin remover or high-quality solvent, and let it dry well. The moisture content of wood in constructions with given geometrical dimensions must not exceed 13 ± 2%, in constructions without given dimensions – 18%.
Old coatings: loose, flaking and cracked old paint layers can be removed without residue. Solid old paint coats should be lightly sanded, checked for overlapping and compatible with the new coating. If necessary, test with adhesive tape for adhesion.
Drawing
Stir well before application. Absorbent bases should be primed with varnish diluted with water by 5-15%. Apply lacquer undiluted in 2-3 layers, depending on the further load on the floor (maximum number of layers – 5). Apply by brush, roller or spray; It is recommended to use special acrylic brushes (a mixture of synthetics and natural bristles). On large surfaces, use a short-haired nylon roller (4-6 mm) and immediately go through a small-pore roller or acrylic brush. Mohair and velor rollers are not suitable for application. After application, protect the floor surface from dust and moisture.
When applying by airless spray, use a nozzle of 0.01010.013 inch and a pressure of 160 bar, while not diluting the varnish. When applied by air spraying machines, dilute the varnish with water to a working viscosity, use a nozzle of 1.5 mm and a pressure of 3 bar.
Consumption
About 100 ml / m² when applied to smooth, slightly absorbent substrates. On rough surfaces, consumption increases. The exact flow rate is determined by test painting on the object.
