Composition
Lacquer KO-85 is a mixture of ethyl acetate, acetone, butyl acetate with a solution of polyphenylsiloxane resin. High-quality varnish does not contain mechanical impurities. The appearance of the KO 85 varnish film is a clear liquid from light yellow to brown in color with no visible mechanical impurities. Warranty period of storage – 6 months from the date of manufacture.
Purpose (KO-85)
Lac KO-85 is widely used. It is used as a base for enamel KO-814, which is created by mixing this varnish and aluminum powder. Lacquer KO 85 is also used in the oil and gas industry for protective (anti-corrosion) painting of steam lines with superheated steam, heat pipelines, process pipelines, oil pipelines, gas pipelines, metal chimneys. Application
Before use, clean the surface from dirt and dust. Work in personal protective equipment using a respirator and rubber gloves. It is forbidden to carry out work near an open flame. Keep lacquer away from children, in tightly closed containers and do not expose to direct sunlight. The KO 85 lacquer prepared for application can be applied with a paint sprayer (pneumatic or airless), a roller, a brush or a dipping. When spraying, the nozzle diameter should be 1.8-2.5 mm. The distance from the nozzle of the paint sprayer to the surface to be painted should be 200-300 mm, depending on the air pressure and the diameter of the nozzle.
