Varnish ML-92

Properties

Lac ML-92 is a solution of a mixture of glyphthalic lacquer and melamine-formaldehyde resin in organic solvents. If necessary, it can be diluted with xylene, toluene or a mixture of one of these solvents with white spirit in a ratio of at least 3: 1. Shelf life – 12 months from the date of manufacture. Store varnish ML 92 in a tightly closed container, protecting from moisture and direct sunlight.

Purpose (ML-92)
After drying, the varnish film ML-92 has dielectric properties. Therefore, this varnish has found its wide application in the electrical industry. The varnish ML 92 is intended for impregnating the windings of electrical machines, devices and transformers and for covering electrical insulating parts. According to its characteristics, the varnish ML-92 is a material that withstands high electrical voltages, current, surface discharges, electric arc. This varnish belongs to the class of heat resistance B, which corresponds to a temperature of 130 ° C.

Application

Before use, varnish ML 92 should be thoroughly mixed throughout the entire volume of the container. Most often, the application is carried out by dipping. It is necessary to dry each applied layer correctly. Immediately after application, hold the surface for 15–20 minutes at a temperature of 18–22 ° C. Then you can use hot drying, which is carried out at a temperature of 105-110 ° C for about one hour. Work in personal protective equipment (respirator, gloves). During work in an enclosed area it is necessary to ensure a constant flow of fresh air. It is strictly forbidden to work near an open source of fire.
