Varnish NTs-218
Composition
Lacquer NC 218 is a solution of lacquer colloxylin, resins and plasticizers in a mixture of volatile organic solvents. It is a nitrolac for interior work and provides a glossy, hard, smooth coating that is well ground and polished. Shelf life – 12 months from the date of manufacture.
Purpose (SC-218)
Lacquer NC 218 – designed for processing wooden products indoors. This may be furniture, parquet and other wood products. Coatings get a decorative look combined with high physical and mechanical properties. When the varnish is completely dry, the surface will be ready for further processing. It can be polished or polished. However, this varnish is prohibited to use in open space, as it is hydrophobic.
Application
The treated wooden surface must be dry and dried. It is necessary to clean it from dust and dirt, sand it off. Before applying the lacquer NTS 218 diluted to the working viscosity with a thinner RML or when pneumatic spraying allowed to use the solvent brand 646. The varnish is applied to the surface of products by pneumatic spraying or in bulk, with a tampon or brush, in a thin even layer, without drips. Work must be carried out in personal protective equipment, using a respirator and rubber gloves. When performing work, it is necessary to ensure a constant supply of fresh air and to ventilate the room. Do not allow varnish to enter the organs of digestion and respiration. Do not carry out work near an open source of fire.
