Waterborne varnishes

Type:  water-dispersion varnishes for wood are available in two types: varnish “Aqualide interior” for interior work and varnish “Aqualid exterior” for outdoor work.

Varnishes are aqueous dispersions of acrylic copolymers with the introduction of various functional additives and a matting agent.

Scope:  Varnish “Aqualide interior” is designed for decorative design and protection of interior walls, ceilings, beams, railings, doors, panels, baseboards and other parts made of wood, fiberboard, particleboard, plywood (except floors). It can be used for protective and decorative finishing of furniture.

Varnish “Aqualide exterior” is designed to cover the exterior wooden surfaces: the facades of wooden houses, window blocks, doors, platbands, gazebos, fences and other elements of building structures made of hardwood and softwood.

Lucky are well applied on natural veneer, on old varnish coatings of MCh-212, NTs-237, NTs-243, “Uralid” and other varnishes.

Advantages:  Varnishes are used as independent coatings, as they emphasize the natural texture of wood. The additives in the lacquers help protect the wood from biological damage and weathering (for the Aqua Led exterior lacquer). Form a coating with a silky matte sheen, have excellent adhesion to wood, chipboard, fiberboard, plywood, latex and acrylic coatings. Varnishes are easy to apply, dry quickly, forming washable durable coatings. Do not have a pronounced smell.

Surface preparation:  Before painting, new surfaces are ground along wood fibers, dedusted, old coatings, loose wood and mold, if possible, are removed and discolored by means of “Whiteness”, thoroughly washed with water, dried. Surface defects are filled with sand, sanded along wood fibers and cleaned of dust.

Coating:  Before applying, the varnishes are mixed, avoiding the formation of bubbles, allowed to stand for 20 minutes, if necessary, filtered through a nylon mesh No. 01H-02H. Spraying apply primer “Aqualide Prime”. It is allowed to apply a primer coat with a brush. When applied with a brush It should not be carried out in accordance with the TNPA on the material. As a primer, you can use varnishes, 10% by weight of varnishes. It is at least 2 hours at 65%. After drying, it can be prevented from drying up.

Lacquers are applied to the primed surface by spraying with an initial viscosity. It can be diluted when it comes to the spraying process.

It can be seen that the consumer has been able to control the air flow rate (for example, air temperature, air temperature, air flow, air temperature, etc.).

It is desirable to achieve a better decorative effect when brushing varnishes, even along the wood fibers. It depends on the thickness of the lacquer layer, therefore it is necessary to ensure that it is sufficient. The number of applied layers of varnishes is at least two. Intermediate drying between coats – 2 hours at a temperature of (20 ± 2) ° C (65 ± 5)%. The drying time can be increased. Nish.

Depending on the method of application, absorbency and substrate roughness

The consumption of varnishes  for single-layer coating:

– when applied with a brush – 90 – 120 g / m²,

– when applied – 100-120 g / m².

The curing time of the finished coating before operation is 24 hours. Considerable physical exertion should be avoided for 48 hours.

It is not allowed to mix varnishes with any type of coatings and solvents of any type.

It has been found that  the coating has been applied under the conditions of the UHL1 is at least 2 years. The coating retains its protective and decorative properties for the UHL1.

Storage conditions:  Varnishes are stored in closed warehouses at ambient temperatures from + 5 ° C to + 35 ° C. Direct sunlight is not allowed. In winter, the varnishes are transported in insulated transport.

Precautionary measures:  Varnishes are fire and explosion-proof.

With personal protective equipment (workwear, goggles, rubber gloves). Mucous membranes and skin, rinse with plenty of water.

Dried coatings do not have a toxic effect on the human body.
