Advantages: The  primer forms a gas resistant. The primer is XB and XC.

 

Surface preparation  , GOST 9.402 or STB ISO 12944-4.

 

Must be thoroughly cleaned from dust, dust, rust, scale and other contaminants; surface coatings, such as mineral contaminants, water-soluble surface coatings, have been cleaned with sanding cloths. ), degreased with eton (GOST 2768) or solvent P-4 (GOST 827) and thoroughly dried.

 

The surface is mechanically cleaned, dehydrated, degreased and dried. It should be checked for compatibility. In order to completely remove the coating, it must be completely removed.

 

It is recommended to improve the protective properties of the surface oxides 1 – 2 according to GOST 9.402.

 

The color of water should not be below 3 ° C.

 

Application:  Before use, the primer is thoroughly mixed, diluted with solvent R-4 in an amount of not more than 40% by weight of the undiluted primer, filtered through mesh No. 01H-02H (GOST 6613) and applied by pneumatic spraying.

 

The consumer independently selects the working viscosity depending on the working conditions (ambient temperature in the room, the diameter of the spray nozzle, the working pressure of compressed air, etc.).

 

In case of storage at low temperatures, the primer is kept in a warm room before application (to avoid moisture condensation on the painted surface during painting) for at least 24 hours.

 

In the case of surface cleaning with a sandblasting or shot blasting method, the coating thickness should be increased taking into account the degree of surface roughness Ra (GOST 2789).

 

Recommended complex four-layer coating.

 

Primer HS-068 “L”, enamel HS-75U (TU RB 500021625.104) and lacquer HS-76 (TU 6-21-7) are applied by pneumatic spraying according to the following scheme:

 

one coat of primer with a dried coating thickness of 15-20 microns;

 

two layers of enamel ХС-75 У gray with a thickness of the dried coating – 50 – 70 microns;

 

One coat of XC-76 lacquer with a dried coating thickness of 20 – 25 microns.

 

The interlayer drying is carried out at a temperature of (20 ± 2) ° C for 1 h and the final drying at a temperature of 60 – 65 ° C for 3 h. The final drying of the coating system is allowed to be carried out at a temperature of (20 ± 2) ° C and relative humidity air no more than 80% for at least 5 days.

 

Exposure of the coating before operation for at least 7 days.

 

The thickness of the dried complex four-layer coating –

85 – 115 microns.

 

Primer consumption  for a single-layer coating is 60 – 100 g / m2 without taking into account the complexity of the surface to be painted, its preparation, the color of the primer, the thickness of the coating, the qualifications of personnel and other factors.

 

Storage : The primer should be stored in a tightly closed container, protected from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep away from fire.

 

Precautionary measures : Persons associated with paint work must be provided with personal protective equipment (workwear, goggles, rubber gloves). When carrying out painting works and after they finish, ventilate the room.

 

The dried coating does not have a toxic effect on the environment and the human body.
