Properties
Day Fluorescent Enamel AC 554 is used mainly in the machine and aircraft industry. It gives the surface maximum brightness in daylight or ultraviolet illumination and has an increased resistance to fading. It is used for painting airplanes, helicopters, road signs, rescue equipment, buoys, etc.

The enamel AC-554 retains its properties in the best way in the following coating system:

  • one ball primer VL-02, AK-070 or AK-069
  • 2 coats of primer АС-071 or enamel АС-599 of white color
  • 3 layers of enamel AC-554

In order to increase the resistance to fading and increase the durability of the surface, which is used in atmospheric conditions, AC-554 enamel is recommended to apply 2 layers of AC-528 lacquer.

Application

The surface must be dry, degreased and free from dirt, dust and other contaminants. Enamel must be thoroughly stirred throughout the volume of the container. Enamel can be applied with a paint sprayer, brush or in bulk. If the treated surface is painted and sanded, then it is possible not to use VL-02, AK-070 and AK-069 phosphating primers.
