Enamel HS-436
Composition: Material of two packaging based on vinyl and epoxy resins. It has high anticorrosive properties, water resistance, weather resistance, oil and petrol resistance, abrasion resistance. The service life of enamel coating while observing the established application technology: 3-layer for the PVL area is 2 years, 4-layer for the underwater part is 4 years. Allowed for enamel HS-436 application of standard anti-fouling coatings.
Purpose (ХС-436)
For protection against corrosion of the area of PVL and the underwater part of ship hulls, including icebreakers, as well as anti-corrosion protection of steel surfaces operating in atmospheric conditions.
Application
Before use, make sure that the base of the enamel is well mixed and uniform throughout the entire container space. To prepare the composition, the enamel base is mixed with a hardener, mixed thoroughly and incubated for 20-30 minutes before application. The ratio of the hardener and the base is indicated in the quality document for each batch of material. The prepared enamel is applied to the surface of the metal to be protected by airless spraying machines at an ambient temperature of minus 15 ° C to 35 ° C and a relative air humidity not higher than 80%. To avoid moisture condensation, the surface temperature should be above the dew point by at least 3 ° C. Enamel is applied by airless spray, brush or roller. If necessary, in the case of thickening, the enamel can be diluted with a solvent R-4 or acetone in an amount of not more than 10% by weight.
