Compositions XC-500 and XC-500 K
Type: Compounds are two-component systems consisting of a semi-finished composition and hardener No. 5 (TU 6-10-1093).
The semi-finished product of composition XC-500 is a suspension of pigments in a solution of a copolymer of vinyl chloride with vinyl acetate in a mixture of organic solvents with the addition of epoxy resin, plasticizer and corrosion inhibitor.
The semi-finished product of composition XC-500 K is a suspension of pigments in a solution of a copolymer of vinyl chloride with vinyl acetate in a mixture of organic solvents with the addition of epoxy resin, a plasticizer, a corrosion inhibitor and a rust converter.
Scope: Compositions ХС-500 and ХС-500 К are intended for protection against corrosion of external surfaces of equipment, metal, reinforced concrete structures and pipelines in conditions of industrial atmosphere of chemical production exposed to aggressive gases and other chemical reagents having a temperature not exceeding 60 ° С , as independent coatings, as well as for protection in complex multi-layer coating with weather-resistant enamels, varnishes such as XC, XB, EP, ML, PF. The composition of the XC-500 K is designed for painting metal surfaces with remnants of tight rust (layer thickness of corrosion products up to 100 microns).
