Scope: Enamels are designed for painting primed metal surfaces, concrete and reinforced concrete structures, as well as wood and fabric surfaces.

Advantages: Enamels ХВ-16 and ХВ-16 Р – quick-drying, dry at room temperature. Coating enamels has a high decorative and protective properties when used in atmospheric conditions and indoors. Differ in high water and weather resistance.
Surface preparation : Metal surfaces before applying enamels should be primed with primers such as GF, VL, FL, XB, XC or EP. Surface preparation, application and drying of primers is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the TNPA on a specific type of primers or in accordance with the requirements of the TNPA on the product and,

The previously painted surfaces are cleaned of the fragile layers of the old coating, the exfoliated old coating is removed, the entire surface is mechanically cleaned, degreased and dried. If the appearance of the old paintwork is unknown, it should be checked for compatibility (it is recommended to carry out a control painting of a small surface area). In the case of swelling or peeling, the coating must be removed.
To avoid moisture condensation, the temperature of the surface to be painted should be above the dew point temperature by at least 3 ° C.
Wooden surfaces must be cleaned of resinous substances, dried, sanded to remove lint and dust. From the previously painted surface it is necessary to remove various dirt, completely remove the peeling coating, sand and dust the surface.
Concrete and reinforced concrete surfaces should be clean, dry, strong, without cracks, loose sections, dust and dirt. If necessary, concrete and reinforced concrete surfaces are cleaned with a dry method (brushes) and dedusted.
Coloring is not allowed during precipitation, as well as on wet and icy surfaces.
Application : Before use, the enamel is mixed, if necessary, diluted with solvent R-5, R-5A or R-4 (GOST 7827) in an amount of not more than 20% by weight of the enamel, filtered and applied by pneumatic spraying, with a brush or roller.
The consumer independently selects the working viscosity depending on the production conditions (ambient temperature in the room, the diameter of the spray nozzle, the working pressure of compressed air, etc.)
In case of storage at low temperatures, the enamel is kept in a warm room before application (to avoid moisture condensation on the painted surface during painting).
Enamels are applied in two to four layers with interlayer drying for 1 h at a temperature of (20 ± 2) ° C and final drying for 1.5 h at a temperature of (20 ± 2) ° C or for 2 h at a temperature (75 ± 2) ° C.
Prior to commissioning the painted product is recommended to withstand at least 7 days.
The thickness of the dried single-layer coating is not less than 20 microns.
The consumption of enamels on a single-layer coating is 120 – 160 g / m² without taking into account the complexity of the painted surface, surface preparation, application method, enamel color, personnel qualifications and other factors.
Coating service life: The service life of a coating consisting of a single layer of primer GF-0119 and two layers of enamel applied on a prepared metal surface under conditions of UHL1 is at least 5 years.
The service life of the coating consisting of one coat of VL-02 primer, two layers of FL-03K primer and four layers of enamel applied to the prepared surface under T1 conditions is at least 3 years.
The coating retains its protective and decorative properties while observing the requirements of the TNPA for coating, drying and operating in climate conditions UHL1 and T1.
Storage : Enamels should be stored in tightly closed containers, protected from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep away from fire.
Security measures: Persons associated with painting work should be provided with personal protective equipment (workwear, goggles, rubber gloves).
