Enamel KO-814

KO-814 is designed for protective (anti-corrosion) painting of steam lines with superheated steam, heat pipelines.

Categories: ,
Composition

KO 814 brand enamel is prepared by mixing 100 parts of the KO brand 85 varnish and 5 parts of aluminum powder and is used within 8 hours after preparation.

Purpose (KO-814)

KO-814 is designed for protective (anti-corrosion) painting of steam lines with superheated steam, heat pipelines, process pipelines, oil pipelines, gas pipelines, metal chimneys, vehicle exhaust systems, engine parts, ship hulls and mechanisms, metal roofing and metal structures exposed during installation and operation of temperatures from -60 to + 400 ° C and the effects of aggressive factors: mineral oil, petroleum products, salts.

Application
KO 814 enamel prepared for application can be applied with a paint sprayer (pneumatic or airless), roller, brush, dipping. When spraying, the nozzle diameter should be 1.8-2.5 mm. The distance from the nozzle of the paint sprayer to the surface to be painted should be 200-300 mm, depending on the air pressure and the diameter of the nozzle.

Metal surfaces are painted in 1-2 cross layers with intermediate drying between layers; tack-free; 0.5h At a temperature of (20 ± 2) ° С.

Concrete, asbestos-cement, plastered, cement-sand surfaces are painted in 2-3 layers. Drying of the coatings is natural at a temperature of + 20 ° C for 3 hours; during operation, full curing takes place during heating.
