Protective composition (colorless)
The protective composition allows you to improve the appearance of wooden surfaces – to emphasize the natural beauty of wood (colorless formulations) or to imitate other wood species using toning (compositions of different colors). The composition of the protective brand Massive has both protective and decorative properties, which eliminates the use of several materials. The composition provides at the same time effective biological protection and protection from weathering. It gives different shades of wood, keeping the structure visible.
Type : Colorless composition is a solution of alkyd resins in organic solvents with the addition of modifying fungicidal and other targeted additives.

Scope : Compositions are intended for the biological protection of wood and wood products, as well as for protection from weathering. Colorless composition can be used to clarify the compositions of various colors.
Surface preparation : To clear the painted surface from dust, fatty pollution, wreckers, old coverings, to dry thoroughly.
Coating : Mix thoroughly before use. It should not be applied on wet, icy and previously painted surfaces. Wood moisture should not exceed 10%. To ensure effective protective action apply at least two layers. To put the second layer after the previous is completely absorbed.
Approximate consumption: Consumption of the composition on a single-layer coating (60 – 80) g / m 2 . Consumption of the composition may vary depending on the absorption capacity, surface roughness, application method and other factors.
Drying time: Interlaminar drying at ambient temperature, paintwork material and surface to be painted (20 ± 2) о С – for 10 – 15 min, final drying at temperature (20 ± 2) о С for 24 h. At lower temperature or high humidity drying time may be increased.
Precautionary measures : Persons associated with paint work must be provided with personal protective equipment (workwear, goggles, rubber gloves). When carrying out painting works, as well as for at least 24 hours after their completion, it is necessary to thoroughly ventilate the room. Avoid skin contact! Keep out of the reach of children.
Transportation and storage: Compositions should be stored in tightly closed containers, protected from moisture and direct sunlight at a temperature not higher than 30 ° C.
