Varnish GF-95

Properties

GF-95 varnish is glyptal insulating impregnating varnish. Material one-pack. It provides coatings with properties such as:

  • oil resistance
  • electrical strength
  • thermoelasticity 

Purpose (GF-95)

GF 95 lacquer is intended for impregnation of windings of electrical machines, apparatus and transformers with insulation of heat resistance class B.

Application

If necessary, dilute GF 95 diluted with toluene, xylene, solvent or a mixture of one of these solvents with white spirit (nefras-C4 – 150/200) in a 1: 1 ratio. Stir the varnish thoroughly before use. The varnish is applied to the surface by dipping, pouring, spraying and brushing.

Security measures

Varnish GF-95 is flammable, it can not work with open fire. If work is carried out indoors, it is necessary to provide constant airing. Works can be performed only with the use of personal protective equipment and rubber gloves. Do not allow varnish to enter the respiratory and digestive organs. If the varnish comes into contact with the skin, wash it with warm water and soap.
