Advantages: L ak is used to obtain a chemically resistant paint coating to protect the surface from the effects of aggressive media of an alkaline and acidic nature. The coating has high decorative and protective properties .
Application: Before use, the varnish is mixed, diluted to a working viscosity of 16 – 22 s using a VZ-246 (or VZ-4) viscometer with solvent P-4 or P-4A (GOST 7827) and filtered. The varnish is applied to the surface by spraying methods.
The consumer independently selects the working viscosity depending on the working conditions (ambient temperature in the room, the diameter of the spray nozzle, the working pressure of compressed air, etc.).
In case of storage at low temperatures, the lacquer is kept in a warm room before application (to avoid moisture condensation on the surface to be painted during painting).
Enamel is applied at least two layers, and varnish – at least 1 layer. Interlayer drying is not less than 1 hour at a temperature of (20 ± 2) ° C, the last layer – 24 hours at a temperature of (20 ± 2) ° C or 2 hours at a temperature of (60 – 65) ° C.
The thickness of the dried single-layer coating should be 18 – 23 microns.
Lacquer consumption for a single-layer coating – 200 – 260 g / m² without taking into account the complexity of the painted surface, its preparation, application method, enamel color, coating thickness, personnel qualifications and other factors.
Storage: L ak should be stored in a tightly closed container, protected from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep away from fire.
Precautionary measures: Persons associated with paint work must be provided with personal protective equipment (workwear, goggles, rubber gloves). When carrying out painting works and after they finish, ventilate the room.
The dried coating does not have a toxic effect on the environment and the human body.
