Putty EP-0010, EP-0020

Purpose (EP-0010, EP-0020)

Soil-putty has found its application in the finishing of surface metal surfaces in shipbuilding, in the finishing of products and structures that are in an industrial atmosphere. Also used when finishing the surface of cargo holds in which grain and various grain products are transported. For hardening putty EP-0020 use hardener No. 1 according to TU 6-10-1263, and for putty EP-0010 hardener No. 1.

Application

Before use, hardener No. 1 is introduced into the putty paste at the rate of (8.5 ± 0.2) g per (100 ± 0.2) g of putty paste. Stir putty to a uniform state throughout the volume of the container. Putty undiluted applied to the surface with a spatula. When applying putties by pneumatic spraying, they are diluted to a viscosity of 18-20 with solvents Р-5А, Р-5, Р-4, 646, Р-40. Work in personal protective equipment (respirator, gloves). To the workplace to ensure a constant flow of fresh air. Do not work near an open source of fire. Do not allow this material to enter the organs of digestion and respiration.

Mass fraction of nonvolatile substances of filler paste not less: for EP-0010 – 90%, for EP-0020 – 92%;

Drying time to degree 4 at a temperature of (20 ± 2) ° С not more than 24 h;

Bending coating elasticity no more than 50mm;

The strength of the putty coating on impact, on the U-1 device is not less than 40 cm;

The shelf life of the filler mixed with a hardener at a temperature of (20 ± 2) ° C, not less than:

• when applied by pneumatic spraying 6h;
• when applied with a spatula 1.5h.
