Scope of application
For protection against corrosion of ship structures made of carbon steel, light alloys and other metals used in sea and fresh water (bridges, hydraulic structures), as well as the underwater part of ships of an unlimited navigation area. The coating consisting of 3 layers of enamel, applied to the primed surface, retains its protective properties for at least 4 years. Enamel is used in shipbuilding and ship repair.

application methods | Working viscosity (VZ-4)
fiber, penzel | (60-80) with
spraying pneumatic | (40-60) with
airless spray | (40-60) with
working conditions | Air temperature at coloring from + 5 ° С to + 30 ° С
Drying time | At a temperature (18-22) ° С and relative air humidity not more than 65% – up to 18 hours.
Lower temperatures and higher humidity prolong the drying time of cold drying. |
|
enamel consumption | On a single-layer coating – (180-220) g / m? when applied by spraying.
On a single-layer coating – (250-300) g / m? when applied with a brush or roller. |
|
Single layer coating thickness | (18 – 23) microns – when applied by spraying
(20 – 50) microns – when drawing by a roller or a brush For a high-quality coating, application of 2-3 layers of enamel is recommended (the layer thickness after drying should be 80-100 microns). |

Surface preparation
Remove dust, dirt, particles of old paint, peel off, grease and other contaminants.
The surface must be dry and clean. Prime with VL-02, VL-023, EP-0263 primer.
Enamel preparation
The basis of enamel add claimed in the amount of 2.8 mass fractions per 100 mass fractions of the base of enamel. Enamel to withstand for 30 minutes to remove air bubbles. Dilute to working viscosity.
