Composition
Aluminum powder PAP-1 (silver) – is a silver-gray product that does not contain foreign matter visible with the naked eye. The aluminum particles in the powder are plate-shaped and coated with a thin oxide and fatty film. The average thickness of the petals is approximately 0.25 to 0.5 microns, and the average linear size is about 20-30 microns. It is distinguished by such properties as:
- light resistance
- heat resistance
- moisture protection
- anti-corrosion
Purpose
Powder PAP 1 has wide application. It is used as a pigment for paints and enamels, in the production of glossy rubber adhesives, concrete solutions. Used in the manufacture of fillers and the production of anti-corrosion, reflective and heat-resistant (for painting metal products, long-term operating at temperatures up to 400 ° C) coatings as a coloring pigment. Used as a blowing agent for cellular concrete (aluminum powder is introduced in an amount of 0.1-0.2% by weight of cement). It acts as a decorative coating for wooden, metal and other surfaces. It has high adhesion to metal and protects it very well.
Application:
Work in personal protective equipment (respirator, rubber gloves). The material is flammable, it is forbidden to work near an open source of fire. Material is ignited when water enters it. Also avoid dusting.
