Primer “Primex-Aurora-199”

Scope: For use in complex systems of chemically resistant paint coatings for priming metal rigid structures exposed to the industrial atmosphere, which includes aggressive gases and vapors, or short-term action of acids and alkalis.

For priming clean surfaces of ferrous metals and surfaces that have corrosion traces with a corrosion layer thickness of up to 100 microns, as well as for wooden and concrete surfaces.

The coating, consisting of 2-3 layers of primer, can be used as an independent for 6 months.

Properties:

  • Ability to use as an independent coating;
  • High mechanical and anti-corrosion properties;
  • The possibility of applying over rust;
  • The resistance of the coating to the action of water and sulfuric acid solution;
  • The resistance of the film to temperature drops from minus 60 C to +140 degrees C.

Technical details:

Composition Two-component primer: base (epoxy resin, pigments, fillers, plasticizers, targeted additives) and hardener (polyethylene polyamine (PEPA), hardener No. 1 is allowed)

Primer Application Guide:

Application Methods Working viscosity (VZ-4)
roller brush (30-60) with
pneumatic spraying (18-22) with
airless spray (30-40) with
Working conditions Air temperature when painting not lower than +5 wasps
Drying time At a temperature (18-22) wasps and a relative humidity of not more than 65% – up to 24 hours.
At a temperature (118-122) Oc – up to 1 hour.
Low temperature and high humidity during cold drying extend the drying time.
Primer consumption (120-150 g / m2)
Single layer coating thickness (25 – 35) µm
For a high-quality coating, it is recommended to apply 1 coat of primer when used in combination and 2-3 coats of primer when used as a stand-alone coating.
Cleaning tools G-4

Surface preparation:
Remove dust, dirt, slices of old paint, peeling, grease and other contaminants.

The surface must be dry and clean.

Primer preparation:

Before use, add a hardener to the base of the primer:

  • PEPA – 1.7 mass fractions per 100 mass fractions of the base of the primer;
  • No. 1 – 4.4 mass fractions per 100 mass fractions of the primer base.

To stir thoroughly. Let stand for 30 minutes to remove air bubbles.

Dilute to working viscosity.
