Composition
Enamel MS-17 is a suspension of pigments in a solution of alkyd-styrene varnish in xylene with the addition of desiccant. This enamel has a high drying rate, resistance to the action of water, mineral oils, temperature changes, as well as good electrical insulating properties. Coatings treated MS 17 are operated in areas with a temperate climate under a canopy and inside heated and unheated rooms.
Purpose (MS-17)
Enamel MS-17 is widely used in mechanical engineering and is intended for painting chassis components and other automotive parts.
Application
The surface must be dry, degreased and free from dirt, dust and other contaminants. The enamel is stirred until uniform throughout the entire volume of the container, after which the LCD-1 desiccant is introduced in an amount of 1.5-2% by weight of the enamel. Enamel MS 17 is applied over the primer AK-070, GF-021 or VL-02. Apply the enamel paint sprayer. It is possible to dilute the enamel to the working viscosity (18-20) using xylene or solvent. Work in personal protective equipment using a respirator and rubber gloves. It is forbidden to work near an open source of fire.
