Glue 88-CA is intended for cold bonding rubber based on general purpose rubber with metals, including painted, glass and other surfaces, as well as for bonding rubber with rubber.
Products glued with glue are designed to work in air in the temperature range from -50 to 60C. Products glued with glue can be used in sea and fresh water. Glue does not cause corrosion of steel and aluminum alloys. The adhesive film formed after the volatilization of the solvents retains some elasticity.
Appearance:
Viscous colloidal solution of rubber, color from gray-green to beige. It is uniform in consistency. Sludge formation is possible.
Composition:
Glue 88-SA is a solution of a rubber mixture 31-C on the basis of nairite DP, DM-K, or neoprene W and butylphenol-formaldehyde resin 101LK, 101K, or resin type 101 (superbakacit 1001, distalit 100) in a mixture of ethyl acetate and nefras in a ratio of 1 : 1 by weight.

Relative viscosity: 10-40 s
Rubber bond strength:
56 with steel or aluminum alloy: – for peeling resistance: not less than 1.96 N / mm (2.00 kgf / cm) – for tearing resistance: not less than 1.08 MPa (11.0 kgf / sq.cm)
48 hours after gluing – according to peeling resistance: not less than 3.46 N / mm (2.6 kgf / cm) – tearing resistance: not less than 1.28 MPa (13.0 kgf / sq.cm)
Products glued with 88-CA glue can be used in air, sea and fresh water in the temperature range from –40 to + 500C. Glue does not cause corrosion of steel and aluminum alloys, does not form toxic compounds in air and in wastewater in the presence of other substances or factors.

Rules of storage and transportation:
Glue can be transported by any type of transport that ensures the conditions of transportation of flammable goods, in compliance with the rules of transportation established on this type of transport. Transportation is allowed at subzero temperatures.
The adhesive must be stored in a hermetically sealed container in a room specially designed for the storage of flammable materials.
